Rodrigo Ramírez Velasco (Mexico, 1988) graphic designer, artist-programmer, ambient and experimental jazz musician has developed a poetic language that unfolds between generative art and visual music.
Since 2016, he is founder of the design studio 'sizigia' specialized in visual identity, creative coding, web design, poster and digital illustration.
Through workshops, multimedia exhibitions and audiovisual improvisations, his work has been presented in Brazil, Canada, UK, Spain and Mexico.
Rodrigo has studied a Master's degree in Visual Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Design at Universidad Nacional de México (UNAM), and a research stay at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Scientific Research in Music (ICSRiM) at University of Leeds. He also has a MDes, Master of Design in the Design and Computational Art program at Concordia University in Montreal.
